What's up everyone? Let me start off by saying I'm a noob lol this is the first forum I have joined and my first Mazda build.
Some of my previous builds were 1996 BMW e36 (3 series ) and 1993 Nissan 300zx 2+2
Just had a baby boy So I picked up my first 4 door.
picked this up a couple days ago with 144000 miles, car needs some serious TLC so I will be going over everything.
The bad
1.airbag light- car got a little side swipe on the passenger side so I'm guessing that the passenger side air bag sensor went off, seeing that the side airbags are in the seat I'm guessing the previous owner put new seats in but didn't change the modular.I will be taking it to get a full diagnostic test this weekend.
2.rough idle stall at stops. (solved!!!) when I bought the car previous owner said the head was just done a 1000 miles ago at first I was thinking bad maf sensor or dirty egr valve but we put a little brake cleaner on the hoses and found a leak and also some one hooked up the vacuum lines wrong.
3.light smoke- haven't had to much time with the car so soon as I do a full tune up ill know more.
4.bodywork and paint- I've been reading up on these cars and its seems like these cars have rust problem so this weekend ill be getting it on the lift and looking under its skirt.
5.broken stud (easy)
Pretty much all I can think of off the top of my head. Will be updating frequently.
Just a heads up I suck at spelling and grammar so bare with me haha
