03.5_Mazdaspeed - Welcome to the board...and I'm very happy to see that you chose the MSP as opposed to the SeR...IMO it's a better platform for tuning (if the aftermarket co.'s start making more things) You'll find that the vendors on here have tons of great info & are expanding the mod parts for your ride. Maybe I'm not too familiar with the car, but from what I have searched on this site, as far as your engine, internals, and drivetrain goes, you are just a regular Protege engine with a turbo. I don't see how it has more potential when you can't push more than 200whp without doing internals (while the B15 SER has been proven to hold 250whp and 270wtq or so before doing any internal mods)? I mean, obviously you could upgrade them but it is such a weak engine to not be able to handle 200whp without MASSIVE upgrades...I also heard something about the tranny, not too familiar with it, but I would like to know more about it and how you can improve upon it, oh well off to search. Funny....I can by a 38 dollar MBC and get 215 WHP....and you've dumped about 3 grand into your Sentra with your mods AND a nitrous shot....oh yeah I forgot...your gettin your 215 "while spraying"....so much for the cheap modification of a sentra....18 psi on stock internals in an MSP = 263 whp.....bite me.

Hello there I too am new to the Board. I just bought mine on the 11th, so two days before you 03.5_mazdaspeed, but mine is Lazer blue Mica! best color out there and let me tell you hard to find!! I couldn't be happier with it. I have already purchased my first mod. I got a lunar boost gauge that is gonna look great next to the MP3 player. Oh and by the way I am also I girl! Chicks with MSP's ROCK!!!!

yeah, not many people drive the blue speed around orlando. Nice to see more girls driving MSP. Girl + MSP=Sexy! All MSP colors are nice...not to dis anyone!

I think the bronze MS touring rims would look amazing with this color. But its down the road cus it $500 a rim!

The MSP is one of the most detuned turboed factory I have ever seen. Lead foot is right though, with just a 38 dollar MBC you could be well on your way to 200 WHP. Like I said MSP=Detuned.

That was a smart move on his behalf, to talk s*** about the speed on a MSP web forum. Atleast he said it in a nice way. Some are complete assholes and are really cocky...esp Spec V owners.

My friend who drives a 240sx says some spec V owners think they are some kinda race god! I have some friends who drive spec Vs and alot of them are cool...then again alot of them are dicks too! I can't even park near them. It seems like the ricey spec Vs are the worst!

Sheesh, chill out there man I was saying anything bad about it. Yeah, my car is a Sentra and you are a Protege big deal, I'm happy to call my car a Sentra. Anywho, what's the deal with me spraying have to matter? Last time i checked a turbo counts as FI right? Oh yeah, did you know that was only running a 50-shot right? Iv'e only spent just under 2000 for my engine mods, not that it matters. I totally love MSP's, you just need to relax a little bit, seriously.
