New to the 3!!

Hi I'm new to the boards and just got a 04 Mazda 3 5door and love it. Almost more than my jeep, but thats another story. I have been looking online for a decent forum and I like this one the best. Seems to have lots of information and nice people. I am now at a very difficult time. I know have 2 vehicles that I want to mod like crazy, and seeing as the mazda is brand new I am kinda leaning towards that one. But then again, I love working on my jeep and will be installing headers, exhuast hi-flow cat among other things. And I really can't decide which one to do first. My jeep is going to be for fun and weekends, and the 3 is going to be my daily driver. So I don't want to do anything that will effect the gas mileage to bad or the ride comfort of the 3.
So I guess I am wondering which to do first and what should I do??? I already asked at a couple of my jeep forums and you get the answer Jeep everytime. So I am assuming I am going to get the 3 on this forum.

Do the minor stuff to the 3 that will improve gas mileage and handling, then blow the big $$ on the Jeep until more things come available for the 3.

Welcome aboard. I think the 3 looks and runs great as is. I also use mine as a daily driver, so I'm not looking to change anything in the engine to risk reliability. Just look around, get some ideas going, I'm sure you will find something

yeah if u want to mod away now go for the jeep, theres just nothing out there for the 3. and if the 3 is your daily driver, it will be much easier to work on the jeep since its not on the road every single day.
