What's up everyone ... I guess I just wanted to re-introduce myself. I've been a member here since Nov. of 2010 when we bought our 1st Mazda (CX-9 see sig). Well, we no longer have that since the wife wanted to get a minivan for our growing family. I also sold my 2003 M3 convertible to get a 4dr since the M3 couldn't fit 3 baby seats. Anywho, I picked up an 08 Speed3 since I've always wanted one ever since they came out and also because they're very tuner friendly.

So far I've done a few things to it since I got it 3 weeks ago (I don't even have my plates yet). Wifey already thinks its a bad idea that I got this car.

Cobb SRI
HKS exhaust CBE
K-Sport Kontrol pro coilovers - will get installed this Thursday (2/21)
HID headlights 6000k
HID fogs 3000k - with yellow lamin-x overlay
HID reverse light
LED rear turn signals
LED interior lights
LED license plate lights

And a few more things on the way ... Should be here by Monday of next week.
CS race pipe
Cobb TIH
Cobb AP
Turbosmart BPV

Here's a pic the day I brought it home, I'll update this thread whenever we get a little better weather and I get to really clean her. Below is a pic of my old M3, which by the way, I will surely miss, but I had my fun with her and its time for new project.

Just a little update ... Got a few things in this morning and its already installed (sorry, no pics while we were installing it). If there's anyone who's on the fence about getting the Cobb AP, get it!!! It's great! I feel like my car is such a different animal even with just the OTS maps. I also installed the Corksport race pipe and it made my HKS exhaust sound alive. I'll post some sound clips soon but I'm sure you guys know what it sounds like.

Nice looking Speed3 and M3 too. I'm actually debating if I should get the access port first or get a cold air intake it seems like the access port does a lot of good. Your not alone the wife thought it was a bad idea when I got mine too but oh well they get over it eventually.Welcome to the Speed side. What part of NJ are you from?

Thanks! I got the intake 1st because from what I've read, it makes the stock BPV sound like a beast, lol. It's really up to you on which to get 1st, you can't go wrong either way. I work @ F1 motoring in Sayreville and I get a decent discount on go fast mods, I'm in Central Jersey.

I think that's what I will do too get the cold air intake. I've driven past F1 motoring before but never stopped in. That's awesome that you can get mods at a discounted price.

Yeah man, 1 of the perks in working there. Stop by if you see my genwon in the front, and if you want an intake I'll see if I can give you a better deal than anywhere else.
