I am sorry but do a little reasearch please! Not to be a dick but you are scared of running 17's? A ton of us run 18's. I have about a 3+" drop and i run 18's..... The performance chip is an IAT resistor. It may feel gains but wait until colder weather and you will probally lose power with it in! All it does it trick the IAT to be cooler adding more fuel!
IMO read the forced induction tech section and prepair for a turbo build if that is what you desire!! Just to save you money do your research b4 you buy anything. Somebody here has tried about everything you could by now and has posted their results.

I do want to do THE TURBO. I even found a kit with a garrett for 1595!! full kit too. I was thinking about replacing the head too with the bored 1.8L from protegegarage. sigh.
 
I am into DIY, so that's why I traded my car for an Audi A4, '02 3.0L with 43k miles on it and priced right at 16k. I'm planning to get an intake manifold, throttle body spacer, headers, and super charger. It has two subs stock, so and twelve speakers sound system. I am getting it tinted and underbody lights this friday~
 
and on the coolest note I should be sporting a good 400whp. I also forgot pulley kit and cams too. I want to start drooling. also I found out the 1.8L audi uses four lug rims too. small world~
