Thats a neat idea. What did you have to modify to get it fit?
tried originnally to pop the lens off, really to see what lamp was in there . ya know sylvania calls it a 1157A ha ha
so , wow just butchered the lens gettin it of took nightshade well but all chipped and cracked. the adhesive holding the lemns to the grey paart. wow....just wow
got the audi part in and took the gey part and broke the oval flange off til it was only the round lip showing ( clear when you do it) sanded it flat sanded the audi part flat. poped my 194 LED in ( check polarity first, don't be a douche) and used some epoxy to glue the round lips together. good fit really
end up with the stock connector fitting into the lamp. oh, I did have to relieve the claw end a bit to fit the car, and it has a metal spring instead of the stock plastic one . so mebbe a potential corrosion ache for you folks that failed to flee the shiity part of NA
and as I was schooled, you do HAVE to use the #!!%^* load resistors
I have one inline on the repeater and one at the tail
blinks fine
also did the flashing brake doodad, only on the third light
works very well, tucks into the wing no sweat
