after a week of kinda hard work, it is done, and i will never work with fiberglass again, it is just way too much work :(

so far i have gotten 2 reviews besides my own, one loves it, one says it ok, me? it could have come out way better, but i lost my patience near the end and rushed to finish it

here are the pics

correct, now more than ever

i actually started working on this when i found out that u had teh bracket i needed :D

nice work....how effective are those speakers gonna be jammed into the rear windsheild? or am I looking at it wrong?

they sound really good, i don't have the 4 channel amp yet so i've only beed using the rear speakers, definitly an upgrade from those stockers

That looks nice. Ive been thinking about doing something like that for my wife's 2nd Gen. I just re-wrapped her back dash in some material that I picked up at a craft store, but I would love to fiberglass out something.

did you wrap the whole thing in glass or some spread form? or just where you built up?

Do you have a bigger version close up of the whole thing?

i made a mold, then started layin fiberglass on top, smoothed it out, then bondoed it to make it smoother

yeah but presumably somewhere underneath there is the original deck right? that's not an entire mold of the deck. Just wondering when you glassed the speaker holes at what point did you stop laying glass on the edges. ie how did you attach your mold to the deck and make the seams (sp?) look contiguous.

I am at this point.

yes, i fiberglassed over the stock piece, what i did is basically this

the speakers came in a bix with each on in it's own box, i cut that box and that gave me the shape i needed, then i measured to make sure it was the rigt height and i lucked out
