Yeah, well I was going to wait till we found out the sex before I announced it, but Greg and I are pregnant with our first child. Here's a pic of it at 11 weeks:

Isn't it cute? it's feet are already in heel-toe shifting position.. (lol2)

We have big plans for this kid, like teaching it from an early age to drive. I have been told that people are starting their kids off at age 1 doing mini-autocrossing on Power Wheels, so that is the plan. Like I have said in another thread, the Star Mazda series starts kids off in carting at the youngest age of 7, so we've got to get preparing. :D

We both can't wait till we are hauling a little trailer around with the kid's cart, tools, tires, ect in it for races. It's gonna be fun...

What's up? I flaked out the past few get togethers, but all in the name of the first trimester sleepies. :D I have more energy now...

I guess you are on the racelubbock.com boards? Have we met before? Are you going to the autocross this sunday?? (first)

(Ryousuke is hott...)

See if you can get "zoom" to be his/her first word. :D

Congrats.

I will try my best...as the kid will have LOTS of toy cars to play with. We already have soft stuffed cars for when the baby arrives. :D

congrats!!!

i cant wait to become a parent, unfortunately im still a little too selfish for a child right now.

Adn that's okay...but at least you are intelligent enough to realize it and take preventative measures. :)

I know it sounds SO cliche, but you are never "ready". Up until I tested positive for the pregnancy, Greg and I said we did not want kids, but we are so enamoured by it, we are going to move back to our home town to raise the kiddo with our huge family. That and there are awesome autocross clubs in and around Austin. :D
