Do you maybe mean that there are wrinkles in them? If you use the soapy-water trick, you can use a soft cloth to work the wrinkles out. When I first laid down my overlays, there was so much curvature to the lamp that I thought that it would never fit right, but within a minute I'd worked out all the wrinkles. Yeah, i was stupid enough not to follow the instructions since i was in college and had no acess to soapy water. But i am ordering a new set and hopefully it will work out for the best.
