New P5 Questions/Help

So I just bought a 2003 P5 and really love it after my first week. I have couple of question and could use some help. Is the stock stereo compatible with an ipod and what or what is the best way to utilize my ipod with my stock stereo. Next, when at idle or cold, I have a rattle in the dash in front of the driver side. Any way to fix this?? Last, my damn seat belt male clamp is fitted backwards on the belt and has to be twisted to fit into the buckle. What, if anything can be done to turn the thing around???

Search ebay for the GROM audio iPod adapter for your stock headunit. There are other options as well... search google for "aux mod".

Best thing for rattles is to get behind the dash and see what's rubbing... you can usually locate things with a little sleuthing and then you can secure it so it doesn't rattle anymore. You can certainly pay someone to try and locate it for you, but I wouldn't recommend it.

As far as the seatbelt goes, you should be able to fold the belt itself and slide the clip across the fold (not an easy fit, but possible)... once it is on the other side of the fold, straighten everything out... should be on the opposite/correct side of the belt.

I had the dash rattle also. What worked for me was to remove the trim piece thats inside the instrument cluster. Just remove the 2 screws that are in front of the speedo & tach then gently pry it out. I got some of those little felt pads that they stick on chair legs to protect the floor. I put a bunch all around the inside of the trim piece & replaced it. No more rattles!
