New Owner of Vivid Yellow P5

Hello all. Glad to be a member. Have had my new P5 for about a week and I love it. I typically buy only Nissans, but after my experiences with the new Sentra I decided to look elsewhere. Had never driven a Protege, but WOW!. The handling far exceded what I expected. Fit and finish are excellant, and styling, well I always liked hte look of the the P5. Only thing that needs a little kick is the hp, but other than that a great buy.

Congrats, I traded in my 02 Spec-V Sentra on my Protege 5. I love it, but miss the power. I sold Nissan for 4 years as well. I like the 99 Sentra SE like you have. If I could find one I'd buy one.

Yea the first run of Spec V's have been plagued with problems (catalytic converter dissintegrating, and underpowered IMO). I have always been a fan of the SR20 engine, hence why I have my 99 SE. My wife is driving the P5 primarily, but I take it a decent amount of the time. I actually prefer the handeling of the P5 over my car, yet the power mine has. I have my car mildly tuned, and hopefully will also do that with the P5. Thanks for the hospitality all.....oh and I own a Nissan club (www.nenoc.org) you all are welcome on there if you would like. (even though you have Mazdas..lol)

I drove a Sentra while my P5 was being fixing (I was rear ended). When I got back into my P5, I noticed that it was so much more solid feeling. My P5 was just a better feeling car! Sorry Nissan.
