Hey all!
Wanted to introduce myself and my lady. No, she's not our CX-5. I'm Steve and she's Renee. We've been lurking around here for about a month and enjoying the posts as well as info we've gathered on the CX-5. We needed a second vehicle that would work in the winter and were considering the Escape, CRV and the CX-5. I had liked all that I had read and seen about the Mazda so I saved it for the last to look at. Renee liked it as soon as she saw it and there wasn't anything more to talk about after we drove it. I have a few replies to posts to make but wanted to become "official" before doing so. Thanks again for all the valuable info!

Congrats! What dealer you looking at? I live about 30 minutes northeast of the city. Will be getting a CX5 later this year for myself.

I bought my 2013 FWD Touring from Heritage in Lutherville in August 2012 and upgraded to a 2014 AWD Touring w/ Bose and sunroof last June. They were good to work with but don't know how good they will be with price. I'm not very pushy about bargaining. Had the first one in for two oil changes and the second one in once so far, plus just had it in to get the Bluetooth module replaced. Folks in the shop were also good to work with. Heritage has another location in Belair if you are up in that direction and they can swap vehicles between locations.
