2010 CX-9 GT Brilliant Black, Sand
Hello,

I am the proud new owner of a 2010 CX-9 GT AWD with bose, navigation, brilliant black and sand interior. I am coming from a 2008 CX-7 with the exact same options and colors.

Despite several technical issues with our CX-7 we loved the way the car handles and hope the CX-9 will give us the same smiles (seems very much so considering the way the car handles the corners despite added weight and dimensions) and a bit less hassles with technical issues...

Welcome to the forum,

I am also new to our CX-9 and have found it to be a lot superior to our old Pacifica ... Enjoy your ride !!!

Welcome, Cdric. Hope you have fewer problems with the '9 than the '7, if any at all. You will find lots of valuable info available at this forum.

I also have a 2010 CX9 GT with bose and nav. Faultless after 6500 miles. Pleasure to drive. Only a few gripes. After four months I have finally figured out the door locks. I don't like backing it up (despite help from the rear camera the car has bad rear visibility) and the front end is kinda hard to judge too. The middle middle seat is to be avoided by adults. The fuel economy is sadly exactly what the gummit ratings suggested (16/22). Otherwise it has been great, especially on interesting roads. Handles a lot better than my previous ML320.

Hello cvandenhaute,
Welcome. I own CX-7 and CX-9. Both have different pleasure, but love CX-9 more. Never had any issue with CX-7 and CX-9. Like Mazda motto, ZOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM

Welcome and congrats! I own both cars and the CX-9 is far superior in comfort and ride.

we bought our CX-9 ('10 Touring AWD) after the lease on our '07 CX-7 (AWD Touring) ended. while the 9 doesn't handle quite as well as the 7, it's still pretty nimble. also, the V6 is really nice and it's got the extra space we were looking for, and seems like it's a strp up in interior quality. it's definitely a "nicer" car.

Thanks to all of you for your welcome. I did not drive too much yet with the car (it is my wife's and she seems to be very protective of it) but so far I like it. Distinct personality than the CX-7, a bit less "nimble" and playful but more cushy and comfortable while being nimble enough when it is time to play a little. A great car so far. Fuel mileage might not be the greatest but so far much better than the CX-7 that averaged 16 at the best, 18 when I was using it more on highway. At least this one sips regular, not premium as the CX7. I am happy it remains a Mazda for its fun to drive. My first Mazda (also brillant black) was a '07 MX-5 that we had to sell when we moved to the US
