Greetings to all my fellow Ohio members. I would like to introduce myself, and let you know I am going to be the new Ohio moderator. My goal is to generate more interest in our area. I would like to see more community sponsered events such as:

-Group meets(Summit Racing, QSL, Mid-Ohio)

-Fun Drives

-Track Days & Auto-X

I am here to help. If anyone has any ideas, suggestions, or complaints please feel free to PM me.

Thanks,

Matt

Congrats on becoming a mod. I have been for a while but there really wasnt anything to moderate lol. The last year that I had the MSP I got a bunch of meets together ,but hopefully now that there are new people it will be easier. Even though I dont own the MSP anymore Im still up for helping to organize stuff.

Heh, just because you don't have it anymore, doesn't mean your heart isn't there.

Thanks...you let me borrow your tools...lol. I want to get something together for April so we'll see.

yeah, as far as keeping current, Marlon (Perro del Sol) is the Cleveland6Club guy to keep in touch with. He seems to set up most of the local events at tracks and what not.

Congrats Matt, if I can be of any assistance, please let me know, I am more than willing to make Ohio the place to be. I do have a number of resources at my disposal, Jim Jordan & John Doonan of Mazdaspeed Motorsports, Larry Hayes @IMSA, Chris Tindol of Tindol Motorsports and Craig Nagler of Tri-Point Motorsports, as well as all fo the drivers for the two teams.

Let me know what you need and when you need it and I will do what I can. Again, congratulations, hopefully we can wake up the Ohio community and get more participation.

I an tell you, that Sebring was a blast and the Mid-Ohio will be bigger, will post pics later of the event.

Thanks - I will hit you up later to talk more. I have a few ideas I am going to post once I get home tonight. I won't have time durring work today.

I can't wait for Mid-Ohio. I had never watched a race like that before, but I really go into it. Are they going to be racing that weekend too?

Road couse racing is the best, because you can see what cars really shine on the twisties. Usually they're the cars you'd least expect. SCCA Production class races are fun, especially since the Miatas usually tear up in their class...

Yea - When I did auto-x i was supprised with the Mini's and the Sti's. Damn the forced induction/AWD.
