Hi my name is de and I have just bought a 2003.5 MSP(gray,93k,). I did a little research before I bought this car but I am still fairly new to Turbo's. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice for mods and other things that should be done. I have big plans for this car and eventaully want to put forged internals in and up the boost. The one concern I had was that the back end always squeak on bumps and I think it is the sway bar bushings, does anyone know where to get good high quality ones that work well. Thanks for any advice.)

Welcome! First thing id do before upping the boost or while you are forging the motor is installing/ checking if your car has a welded diff or mfactory diff. the back bushing are notorious for squeaking. you can head over to cross over auto and jdm sam will hook it up on that end. but for now just lube them and they should stop for a while.

mods wise i would recommend getting a wideband and boost guage first before you mess with it. after that it really is all dependent on how much you would like to spend.

Everyone has big plans for their car, few people last long enough though. Be prepared for headache. Welcome!

Welcome to the forums.

I purchased AWR bushings when I first got the car as well thinking it was going to stop the squeaking, but after the first week it came back. There good quality and all, but all they do for me is match the red sway bar...

Good luck on your future build. It's quite a roller coaster as Cleverfrog mentioned.
