New MS6

So this is just a general question. Does anyone know if there are any new Speed 6s left on any dealer lots (late 07s most likely). I really really want a speed 6, simply because theyre awesome and a great value for the money. I was planning on waiting for my buddys lease to end on his speed 6 and just buy it but now that i start taking money into consideration it seems like less of a possibility to do so and leasing may be the easiest option, i just dont know if there are any left out there. If anyone can help that would be great

I can't remember the dealer name but a dealer in vancouver washington still has one on their lot. Went the vistit the folks this last weekend and still saw it there in the lot. It's black with full black leather. It's a gt with nav and roof. Brand spanking new. list for 33K but I know it's been on their lot for about 6 months now so I'm sure you could get a screaming deal. It's located on Hwy 99 and 78th in the couv. I seriously thought about trading in my 06 for it just to have a fresh lease on life....

IIRC if you go to the MazdaUSA website you can type in a query and it will be sent to dealers. That would probably be the easiest way to find a leftover MS6. Who knows, could even end up being close to you.

I'm not too familiar with the actual value of these cars. I took a Mazdaspeed 6 for a test drive, and really liked it.

The dealer had 4 of them on the lot, but offered me the following at $25,500

2007 Mazdaspeed 6
GT w/ sunroof
130 miles

I'm not sure if this is a decent deal, I know the car has been sitting on their lot a while. The battery was dead when we went to go test drive the car...

The need for higher octane gas worries me about this car, but what should I be looking at paying?

that sounds like a decent price for a GT. and about the premium gas.... you wont find any car with a decent amount of power that doesnt require it

the real kicker is the 93 octane tho. I've owned 2 cobras and an rx-8 and both of them didn't require anymore then 91. I know FI always calls for higher octane, but even the MS3 can run off 91.

Ultimately it really just depends on where you're located diablo. If you're close to these parts (Ohio) or even the east coast, 93 seems more readily available. Besides Speedways, it's actually a little difficult to find places that don't carry 93 as their premium. And even Speedways are 92.

I ended up buying the car over the weekend. I love it!

93 octane is easy to find around here, I live in Vermont.

If anyone is interested in a speed 6, I know the dealership I went to - Cooley Mazda - has 2. Both are 07 GT's, one is silver (nav + sunroof) with 4,800 miles, and the other is black (like 10 miles on it) w/out nav or sunroof.
