Hi all,

Just got the new round stuff installed on my GT-R. Dropped from 19"OEM to 18x8" Momo Revenge Matte Black and a little wider with 235/60R18 Falken Wildpeak A/T tires.

I think it works pretty well. I'll drive them for a few months to draw any major conclusions, but out of the gate, these tires are easier and less noisy over tar strips because of the taller sidewall. Only drove 4 miles home, so no major conclusions yet. They do feel good, though. Discount Tire ordered and installed.

My stock 2019 Signature OEM tires are donezo, I'm considering the downsizing to the same specs 235/60r18!

Any issues regarding spacing/need for spacers/rubbing?
Wheel/tire weight?
Have you noticed any handling or ride firmness changes?
Any changes on MPG?
Did you consider Nitto Nomad Grappler 235/60r18 107V XL?

Best,

Catch

Hi Catch,

I'm liking the new setup after a few weeks.

No spacers required and no rubbing. Plenty of room.

I am lighter in each corner by just under 2 lbs.

Handling feels the same after I reduced the installed pressure of 38 down to 36. Feels good here.

Haven't really paid attention to MPG as it wasn't a reason to modify. With quick glances at the mileage screen occasionally after shutting down the engine, I see pretty much the same as I did before. I would have guessed that I would have lost maybe 1 MPG or possibly 2, but I don't think that's happened.

I did not even look at the Nitto tires. The Falkens get such good reviews that I didn't bother and I like their looks.

Cheers!

Haven't checked that yet. I don't drive much with the steering wheel at full stop so I don't know. I'm not really worried about it. Maybe I can check it visually in the next few days.
