welcome...

FYI: those are not stock mp3 wheels. They must have swapped them for P5 rims before selling.

Looks like you stock protege wheels. That kinda stinks.

I am not a fan of the interior though. Be sure to run 91-93 octane to activate the advanced timing on the ecu. There are a lot of mods avalible for the mp3 just search around here for a little bit. =).

BTW, welcome to the boards!

do i really need to run 91-93 octane .. cuz of the price on gas now i dont think i can do that alot..

also what rims should have come with the car.. what do they look like

welome to the board.
read the forum well, im sure ull find a lot of things, especially read the stickies.
peace

Its not necessary that you run high octane, but that will keep the advanced timing from kicking in.

Paul-
I love those rotors!

damn those rims are nice.. i wonder y they were taken off..but still the one that are on now are ok for now..

Well make sure they cut you a deal then. How many miles? What are they asking? Knock off about $1000 for the lack of MP3 wheels. Also, I imagine they didn't use the Dunlop SP9000 tires, which play a huge hand in the handling of the MP3. So lets just add this up.

4 17" Racing Hart rims @ $250 a piece = $1000
4 205/45/ZR17 Dunlop SP9000s @ $140 on tirerack.com = $560

Don't get screwed!

Chris

the thing is already paid for and brought home.. $18850

even with out the rims i still think it was a good deal..

It just had over 48k kms on it..

That's in canadian dollars right??

Even so it works out to be about $14K USD which is WAY too much for a 2001, especially without the nice rims & tires that should have been included.

Brand new <b>MSP</b>'s are selling for a bit over $15K USD

#1. welcome to the boards.
#2. go back to the dealer and tell them they are a bunch of retards.
#3. DAMN IT THE BASTARDS COPIED MY INTERIOR!!
