Just wanted to say hello. I bought my 2007 GT AWD CX-7 Pearl White back in August 2007 and have followed this post for the last 1 1/2 years. Finally decided to register. I love my car. Had a 2004 Mazda 6 before my CX-7. I loved the handling and the look of the 6 but had several problems from not enough braking to shifting at unexpected times to not slowing down when you let your foot off the gas. I decided that I wasn't going to keep it so started looking for an SUV style vehicle. I wanted horsepower and handling. Narrowed it down and then went and test drove the CX-7. I was hooked. It was just like my Mazda 6 but 100 times better. Braking was way more than adequate, handling was good, horsepower was awesome, and it was just fun to drive. All I wanted was a white, AWD with automatic climate control. It took the dealer a few days to find one. In the mean time they sent me home with the dark red one with navigation. Did not like the navigation so that is the only option I did not get on the vehicle. I have not had any problems except for some service bulletin items that they fixed. I have over 13K miles on it now and still love driving it. Like many of you it took me a little while to get used to premium fuel again as before I had my Mazda 6 I had a 1995 Acura GSR 4 door that took premium. I kept that car for 10 years before I sold it. Now I think I have found the car I love to drive again but with all the options and upgrades. I really wanted to thank all you guys and gals for your posts as they have helped me over the past 1 1/2 years. I am looking forward to reading and posting more.
