2011 Mazda CX-9 Sport
Hello everyone. A few weeks ago I picked up a 2011 CX-9 Sport, Liquid Silver for my wife, $27,500 OTD after visiting several dealers. My wife had a Honda Odyssey that she had for several years, but she really didn't want another van. So, I sold the Odyssey on craiglist and we went car shopping and we attended the Internation Auto show when it came to town. We test drove several similar vehicles over the next few weeks, but we kept coming back to CX-9.

The CX9 Sport is by far the best bang for the buck as a multipurpose people mover outside of the minivan group. The Mazda 5 is tough competition as another great value for six pax but for a larger vehicle I don't see anything on the market that touches the Sport.

My CX9 replaced '01 Odyssey.
You won't miss your Odyssey except for the extra cargo space...

Thanks everyone. I agree the Sport is the best bang for the buck and we will miss the "magic seat" cargo room. My wife loves the handling and I can already tell from the few times I have driven the vehilce that the brakes feel very responsive.

I feel it is great to have these kind of forums to discuss, happy to have joined the club.

I traded in my 2006 Mazda 5 and got a 2011 CX-9 GT last month. I had to get the one with built-in DVD player for the kids. All is great but on a long drive observed image shaking in the driver's side mirror. Just today the dealer replaced it with another one (warranty). Not sure but I feel this did not resolve the issue as I still feel it shaking. Anybody experienced this?

The side mirror shaking is a common issue. Some are more so than others. Mine is very minor. I can see what you meant, but not to the point that makes me want to replace/fix it.
The solution might not be replacing it with another. Someone suggested to put heavy-grade grease behind the mirror to stablize it.

Welcome to the forum ... The vibrating mirror is common, I was able to stop mine by accident, I placed a chrome strip around the base of the mirror for design purpose and walla, the vibrating was reduced considerably.
