Oh man that would have been crappy, glad everything turned out good, I would have been so upset if I had the car for the weekend and then someone called and was like "NO WAI YOU CAN HAS CAR!"

Well, I had a serious scare yesterday. Got a call from the finance manager at the dealership saying the loan we had supposedly been approved for wasn't going through because they couldn't verify my wife's income (self-employeed, working from home, web designer, paid though Paypal).

Talk about a depressing moment. Drove the car all weekend, thinking everything is fine, and the car was mine.



But later in the evening, He called me back and said everything is fine. He got another loan thank god.

Happened to me too. But it was a matter or hours. the finance officer had me waiting for about 2 hrs; the longest of my life. At the time i had been in the car for about 4 hours and was already talking to the salesman about me talking my sister into getting one too. he finally came to me and said that everything was ok. it al turned out to be a faulty balance on a credit card i had paid off several months earlier. This is my first car i buy new and by myself, so you can see how relieved i was to hear that the car was mine. at least untill i paid it off.
