DGM Protege show car

I want some of those interior components the gauge surround would be cool and the center console. Not a bad looking car at all, fender surrounds are kickass. Don't care for the side exit rear bumper. DG has done alot for the Protege though I am impressed. I like the valve cover also. I hope they bring some of this stuff to market. Keep us posted.

We're hoping to make a lot of the parts available. It certainly sparked some discussion on what we're going to do with our own P5 on the long drive home...

Expect to see that exhaust treatment on a number of cars before too long. It got a LOT of attention. Like it or not, it's different. And that's what many people look for.

Keith

Different it is, just glad to see all those new parts. Any development of interest in our cars is good development. :D

so I couldn't tell that well from the pictures, but are those CF fenders wider than stock? If so that would definitely be sweet.

Yes, the flares are wider than stock by probably 1.5" per side. I'd probably paint them myself, but I'm still trying to decide. We liked the engine cover as well :)

Keith

Nice on the outside, butt ugly on the inside... What's with all that damn cf. Personally, if there is one thing the P5 has, is a nice interior. I personally think leather looks a hell of a lot nicer than that. Almost looks like the rear interior was modeled after a roller coaster wagon... :D

Another P5 with CF fender flares

Was just looking on protegeclub.com and found these pics from the sema show. Anyway found another P5 with the CF fender flares. This settles it I WANT THEM. Also check out the CF mirrors. Pretty nice.

Just about every Protege there was sporting DGM parts. Front splitter, flares, roof spoiler, mirrors - whatever.

Keith

what about that radiator

the radiator in the DGM p5 isnt stock at all, Id like to know where he got that sucker(in the pic in the post byMP3-Owner) .

Screw all that stuff. If I wanted any of that stuff it would be the Turbo, the 21mm AWR Adjustable Rear sway bar, and the Brakes Those babies are Wilwood's and I wanna know what components they used. I can't believe you guys overlooked that

I don't think anyone overlooked it, they just want more stuff for looks. I would definately buy a turbo kit before a carbon fiber hood too.

Trust me I didn't overlook the performance mods done to any of the cars that I saw. If I had I would have overlooked that tiny little intercooler on the front or the brakes like you said. IMO I am just sticking to mild performance mods and concentrating on the looks. Reason for this is that I have been having all kinds of problems with my car and I don't want them to tell me that because of this or that mod my warranty is void. So I will get the car to look the way I want it and as stuff wears out along the way and as my warranty expires I will replace stuff with performance mods and eventually go turbo. Well that is if I keep the car that long(because of the problems)

You found the problem :) There are no headlights on the car. There's no reason you couldn't put some in, of course. The ducting to the IC needs some work as well. It might be small, but it works.
