PICS: New Leather Seat Covers

Check out what got dropped off at my door today!! Got 'em from Northwest Auot Leather. Quality is awesome. ONly problem is that they made the back seats for a P5 and not MSP, so they dont have for the integrated headrests, they have the seperate headrests. I dunno if i should trade seats with a P5 or just send the back seats back. I would send 'em back, but waiting again will be the suckage. I already have someone who is willing to trade seats, but I am worried about how hard the conversion will be. Oh well, check out the pics anyway. The kit came with door panels (I payed a little extra for real leather panels), a piece for the armrest and a shift boot as well. Let me know what you think....

i ordered them from Northwest Auto Leather, they had a group buy a while back on this forum. I did not get in on that, but I still got a very good deal. They are replacements for the stock upholstery, so yes, you do have to strip off the cloth covers from the seats

well i dont know how much he paid for them, but when i emailed them for a quote for a protege 5 they wanted 695$ for a set

how about some pictures after the leather cover been put on?

had some retro leather fit quote, but all quite expensive, at around US$1500~2000 marks, they need the seats taken out to work on. they might retain a better shape and/or finish.

so, are these self-install leather cover gonna look different from those retor fittings?

I recently got a full set of wet okole neorprene seat covers (not replacements) for about that price (700). they're actually very similar to those ones being black and red with the mazdaspeed logo on them. if anyone wants pictures I can get them.

btw, nice covers. I'd like to see how tightly they fit (cool)

here are the pics. they are simple covers so yes I installed them myself. sorry about the color of the pics, my camera doesn't use the flash very effectively. they are the same red color as the body paint on my P5:

it looks tight. the pattern is different (from northwest/stock though).

the northwest cover has vinyl on the back, so does yours?
