New job means mazda might have to go bye bye

As the title states, i just got a call, in 2 weeks i start with the MD Dept. of Corrections. hells yeah! problem is is that this job will require me to show up no matter what. and that includes the weather. The protege5 isnt exactly good in the snow, infact, with my Florida driving background, it sucksssss.

So internets, here is the question...Do i go out and get myself the new GMC Terrain with AWD? or do i get a used truck or suv with low mileage on it, also with 4wd/awd. or just pick up a winter beater and hang on to the mazda. stupid decisions. what do you guys think?

Oh, one of the options that i would get would be a 98 volvo v70R (250hp awd)

Why not just pick up a cheap 4x4...there are tons of them here in the $1500 and less range...many B series Trucks...

lol well with the issue's i've been having with the mazda lately, and the amount of time and parts i was about to spend, i couldnt pass up the offer i got for it. So, now i'm driving a 2000 jeep grand cherokee laredo. only paid $2033 for it after trade in too. i already miss the protege5 like crazy though. but i traded it at the mazda dealership hear so i'm hoping it gets a new owner who loves it just as much as i did. Oh, and as i was leaving, i looked at them and said "well looks like i'll be picking up a miata for the summer!" So, i wont be leaving the mazda community, just taking a short vacation from it lol.
