New Intake Manifold/Throttlebody Experiment

absolutely look like death...ITB's is looking like an expensive pursuit..I'd love it, but i think with the money i'd spend..boost would make more sense...maybe i should feed it crack..

Actually, it's Hyundai ACCENTS of all things! (wrc)

Maybe we can Jenvey out of England. They make quad systems. If there is local version of the fs-de engine over the pond maybe a qoute could be given. Just a thought.

Redline/Weber

I'm actually waiting on a call-back from Redline/Weber on Fitments on the 2.0L for a Independent Quad throttle. I myself am interested in seeing just what i can do to get as much out of my car without the help of forced air. IF BMW could use them in the M series for everyday driving conditions there has to be a way. (headbang)

They go for 556.093 USD

No-one makes FS ITBs. It would have to be custom, and it would be a real crazy task to make one work. Full stand alone, as we already discussed. I'd love to see someone pull it off though....

That's not a Quad throttle body, that's an intake manifold that Essentialspeed makes. It would be your best bet other than the ITBs. I'm probably going to have ES make me a custom intake manifold.

yeah, sadly my project has been put on hold until i get this motor back..since i have the motor open i think i might toss the new internals in..w00t w00t.
