New improved armrest for the 5

Here in europe we now have a new wider adjustable armrest with storage compartment.
Right now is there only a part number with black fabric 4100-78-510
But at the picture from the installation guide it is with leather.

I dont know about that it will be space enough in a US model with passenger armrest.

Forgot the price in germany is the fabric version 159 euro=224 USdollar.
But until now there is no news about the leather version or other colours than black.
I have the olive-green fabric interior, it would look i little cheap with black fabric black leather would be Okay.

Wondering is there a patch for the passenger armrest? You can see on the installation pictures that the passenger armrest has to be remove in order to install the new storage armrest. I am interested anyway. Let us know when you will have it. Thanks

We dont get the passenger armrest in europe, i am stille waiting for an other colour either black leather or olivegreen fabric.
But if it comes to the US, i think it will be a lot cheaper than in europe.

You can also find on the http://www.mazda.co.uk/owning/accessories/ but i wonder why the part number is the same as the german Lefthanddrive version.
I think this German Mazdadealer will ship abroad, he has also an ebayshop.

no worries, the Passenger seat doesn't have an armrest on the Canadian models!

What is it with automakers and not having armrests? Two cars I've considered purchasing recently, a drivers side armrest or center armrest was an option.

While on the German eBay page, I also noticed splash guards for the 5 WITH the side sill extensions. They aren't the cleanest looking things, but do I want a cleaner profile or less rock chips?

No armrest for the Canadians? You can keep the auto door closer, I'll keep my armrests.

I would like the upgraded armrest too, as soon as it comes in leather.
