Well I just wanted to say wassup to everyone. I just got my Blue MP3 last week with 6900 Miles on it for 13K. Good price right? But I need some help doing some tunning. I'm really not planning to do much right now since I'm low on funds right now. Well if you could give me some tips on how to upgrade the HP on the car. I did read a few things about installing a PVC tube from the air box to the ground. (Cheap upgrade) Newayz I'm acctually planning to add some TEIN springs by the end of summer. So if you could help me out and all that would be koo. Thanxs

depends on how intrusive you want to get as for adding power...

you can put on a REAL intake.....cat-back exhaust, you could always upgrade to the high compression pistont......if you can find one now you could change out both the cams.....

that is about it really....unless you want to go TURBO!!

Welcome man. I got my MP3 just a few months ago with a whopping 36K miles on it, for $11,850 before taxes. So you got a decent price. Have fun with it. I've fallen in love with mine!

well make sure you replace the spoiler with a big wing, then add stickers and neon washer lights, your HP will be way up there then

(nuts)...getting old......anyways welcome aboard...you cant go wrong with turbo but it will set you back a couple of G's.....get a CAI or just get one of those SRI off ebay for $40 bucks, catback would be nice, awr header....

Well i'm really not goin to do some big HP upgrades just yet. Prolly some typical, intake, header, etc. But the one thing that is bugging me about the car is just the ride height. In ur guy's opinion, which springs should go with? I like the shocks as is. So its either goin to be TEIN or MAZDASPEED springs. Parts, I'm going JDM. However, first thing is first. Alarm system..... too many cars starting to get broken into.

To be honest I was thinking about buying a clifford alarm system. Pretty good stuff. Has all the things I need. However, my second question was, which springs should I go with? TIEN or MAZDASPEED? well here is my list of things to do for next summer, Injen CAI, some headers, not sure which brand to go with, and keeping the racing beat exahust but doing a straight pipe instead. I mean i just did the PVC tube from the air box to the ground. (Cheap upgrade for now) It feels a little stronger, but its only a temporary pipe until I get the Injen one.

heres a cheap turbo you can put on your car
