The wife actually owns the speed6.
It's a 2006 Black Cherry Mica. She loves the car. We got it with just under 30k on the clock. It is completely stock. It will get a few mods here, but nothing too serious. Just dropping in to so hi!

I am not sure of the mods we will do first... It DOES have the extended warranty (from the dealer) to 100K. The first thing we have to do is figure out if the BPV/BOV is the culprit for a honking type of sound under hard accelleration, it's not the normal psshhhh sound, it starts out like that then moves to a honk.... I am going to check it out when the wife gets home... It's been about 20years since I owned a turbo car... a lot has changed....

a HONK sound? lol now im really curious, can you post a little video of of it?

anyway, if you are under the extended warranty, i definitly recommend sticking to mods that can easily be unbolted back to stock.
Additionally, find out from your dealer (or any other close by ones) what kind of mods, if any, they will allow you to do without voiding the warranty.

that way you know which mods you would have to unbolt and which you can leave on any time you have to take your car to them.
