New Fog Light Bulbs

Anyone replaced the stock fog light bulbs for something whiter and brighter? I' m looking for recommendations.

I was using the eurodezign 5200k bulbs, they lasted about 5 or 6 months and one blew, strange thing was one of my fogs got hit by a rock and put a little spider crack in the lens but it was the bulb in the other light that blew.

Replaced them with eurolite plasma h3's, they look good, not as white/blue as the eurodezigns but the same range the the light itself is a litle clearer.

I heard PIAA and silverstars are supposed to be good bulbs, but the eurolites were 14bux instead of 30 and eurolite is a pretty trusted name in lighting stuff for cars, i was lookin at their new HID kit that uses phillips ballasts

I have noticed that the stock fogs are pretty useless too. How much do these nice new ones cost?
useless? have you done the "fogs on all the time" mod in the how to section? do that and turn on just the fogs at night and they actually do a lot... and who cares anyways they're just for decoration :)

oh and my bulbs are stock right now so i'd be interested in what people say is the right choice for aftermarket.

i put in eurodesign ones in a few months ago .. strangely they both burned out within two months .. i havent bothered to change them again yet because it's somewhat tedious to change them ..

When i changed my low beams over to Silverstars, I also threw some in the fogs....very satisfied.

yup, i have silverstar headlights and fogs... 3 months now.. no complaints... nice and bright, I get flashed all the time, when they do I give them a REAL taste... :)

My p5 has yellow fogs..

Blurry pics, but you get the idea:

You can clearly tell that the bulb shoots out different colors due to the housing of the fog lights.

^^ High angle looks kinda green.

And this is what it's supposed to look like normally..

If you aim them up a little higher, they're pretty decent. Can be blinding to others if you aim it too high though. :)

Do you get better viewing distance with the yellow fog lamps under foggy condition?

I have Amber Vinyl over the foglamps and only was $10.00 and doesn't look bad at night.

Yeah, definitely. Also, other drivers can see me a lot better because the housing of the fogs make it look like I have 2 spot lights. The yellow fogs can be seen from VERY far away.
