Mazda's started leaking pictures of the CX-5:http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2012-mazda-cx-5/#photo-4338962/
Can't say that it's terribly exciting. Kind of looks like every other small SUV but may be closes to the Mitsubishi Outlander. It's definitely less daring than the concept (no surprise). This new design language (Kodo) is not as dramatic as the last one (Nagare) but it looks like it's more executable in terms of translating it to production models. Other than the current Mazda5, the only real Nagare feature that ever made it to production was the grill which was the weakest element and, without the rest of the design elements, kind of silly looking.
Most interesting to me is that the windshield seems fairly upright compared to the CX-7 and CX-9. I wonder if this is a new direction for the lineup or just a necessity given the relatively small size of the CX-5.
