New 2022 CX-5 Turbo deep metallic blue owner

Just picked up my cx5 turbo... I'm really enjoying it. My 4th mazda and it's a good one!

Had my mind set on white... they had blue and I went for it. Don't regret it. Just solid smooth drive. Tough car to beat for the money.

Thanks! I'm liking the color more and more each day. Unfortunately, I just noticed a long scratch on the hood in the clear coat. Anyone have a polish they recommend?

Thanks. No, only the turbo trims have the red accent in the front grill.

If you think it came from the dealer that way take it back. Otherwise visit the reddit detail section. Need more info on the scratch to make a recommendation.

As an aside, that's why I hate any dark colors. Be prepared for yearly detailing to remove swirls. Oh, and don't look at a direct reflection of the sun as those swirls will become more noticeable every passing week, even if you only use microfiber towels

I reached out to Mazda and they're going to buff out the scratches. So I guess we'll see. My last car was black, so I know about the swirls. Haha

Already got a deep blue CX5 ('17). For our 2022 (to come), my wife wants the eternal blue (lighter blue). As usual, in my house, I choose models and wife chooses colors.

You really can't go wrong with any color. My wife is already eyeing up my cx5... I had 2 cx9s and cx5 before. Then I trade in my 19 accord 2.0T 6M for this cx5. I'll miss my manual, but the trade price made the decision easier.
