New 2012 Mazda 3i Sport sedan

Just picked up my new Mazda 3i Sport in Liquid Silver. The car is a 5-speed, and the only option was having the dealer install cruise control. This is my first new car in about a dozen years, and I am planning to use it just for commuting purposes. I am an avid autocrosser (I have a Miata for that), so the car will not stay stock for long. I have a handful of upgrades planned that will make the car more fun to drive without ruining its road manners. First on the list is losing the steel wheels for some 17s and grippy summer tires...

Exact same thing I picked up a few weeks ago :) they actually installed your cruise control? Awesome, most dealers are pretty picky about that. I work for Mazda and I've installed my own, simple stuff. What 17's you plan on throwning on? Ive got a set on gen 2 speed 3 wheels in the garage, trying to wear the tread down on the steelies first. Happy modding :)

Yep, the dealer installed cruise control for us. We live an hour away from the dealer, and when we went to look at the car and take it home the same night, their computers were down and wouldn't allow us to do paperwork. To compensate us, we got the cruise at half price and they installed it before we picked up the car the next business day. I have no idea which 17s I will get; there are a ton of choices. I'd like to make sure they don't stick out too far, so I'm keeping an eye on offset. +45-50 should be good with the 225/45 tires I want. I plan to run those from about March through October and the stock steelies through the winter.
