Need some help rear strut mounts mx-6

So I have heard that the 98 Ford escourt hares the same strut mounts ans the mx-6. It was a while back I took in this info and am not sure if its the front of the rear. Can some one clarify this for me please?

Mine is making a sound ahah, Last time I removed the top nut off the mount it was a b**** to say the least and It probably ruined it.

is the escort mount an upgrade ? also check if a 98 protege mount fits.
