need some help pricing a few things.

does anyone have any examples of used built blocks that have sold on here? what is the "average cost" of one? i know there are a lot of variables (millage, what all was done to the motor etc etc...) im just looking to see if there are any examples... also, if anyone has fully parted out a msp before, wrecked or otherwise, approx how much did you get for it and what all was on it? Idk if this should really be in the FS section, so feel free to move it if im breaking rules or whatever. Thanks!

she is asking 4200 for the longblock, and idk about the rest. like $200 for the trunk/spoiler, but than only like $10 for the sparco stuff... might be getting the whole car and taking the engine/trans and parting the rest...

i wouldnt pay more than 4200 for the car with a built motor regardless of how much other s*** is included. cars in one piece with running built motors can be found for like 5500-6000 these days.

She said she had the.motor built in indiana and has the paper work for it. All she said is its forged, but doesnt know what parts or what all was done off hand. Thats what im thinking yudkib, I might be trading her my e30 straight.across for it

seems reasonable. you can get a bfn built motor for around 4200 with basic balancing and head work if my memory serves me.

If you are trying to price an item you are considering selling, you really should post proper pics. These threads have a tendency to turn into a FS thread when someone comes along with $$.
