Need rotor removal help!

Hey guys,
can anyone tell me how to get this dumb rotor off?

This nut comes off right? Do I need a socket? What size is it? Or are there other methods? I k now I need a Haynes, but its not my car and this is not coming off as easy as the rest I've done!

no that nut should stay dont remove it, its a seperate piece. if u removed the caliper and nothings in the way of the rotor, tap it from back with a rubber mallot or the like, its probably just rusted on there.

Ok. THanks for the reply. I already tried tapping it, prying the bad boy outta there too. Any other suggestions on getting that thing to break loose?

did you remove the brake caliper? it should fall off once you tap it from the back.

maybe some pb buster? (like rust removal stuff) other than that , i have no clue, id go for tapping over prying cause the lug holes are just big enough for lugs and when u pry u might be putting pressure on the lugs so but since it has to come straight off (toward you) prying might not help so much.

I got it. Yes the calipers were off..lol

I had to shove a bar between the spindle and rotor and put A LOT of weight on it. Other side came off much easier. Thanks guys!
