Thanx, for the suggestions but I checked out the Dunlop and Toyo sites and the T1-S and the SP Sport 9K don't come in 195/50s.But the Toyo Proxes4 W do,so that's what I'm kinda leaning towards now.Action Jackson said:Most of the "better" high/ultra performance tires I've looked at that fit our stock rims in our stock size are H to V rated except a couple:
i.e.
Kumho Ecsta 712 H
Kumho Ecsta 711 H
Dunlop FM901 V
Dunlop SP Sport 9000 Z
Toyo Proxes T1-S V
Hankook Ventus K102 V
Goodyear Eagle F1 GS W
I am on my 2nd set of 205/45/16 Yoko AVS ES 100's. There is a slight increase in acceleration. However, it's extremely minor. Go with a 205, they fit the stock rims beautifully, and even help a bit with road rash on the rims, as the rubber sticks out that much more.Phoenix5 said:Thanx, for the suggestions but I checked out the Dunlop and Toyo sites and the T1-S and the SP Sport 9K don't come in 195/50s.But the Toyo Proxes4 W do,so that's what I'm kinda leaning towards now.
And by the way, here are the revs/mi. comparing our stock 195/50s with 205/45s:
Stock(195/50/16): 852
New(205/45/16):867
Does anyone have 205/45s on their 16s??How much difference do you notice??
