Hey, my names Wes and I just bought a MSP , my mechanic and I rebuilt the engine, new everything and when I mean everything it's everything, bottom and top block, new gasket Seals , new rings , lubricated and such
My car has a high idle, and my Air fuel ratio is at 14.5 even under boost, my brother told me to get the ECU flashed at Mazda he said that's likely to fix the problem, I also ordered the TPS sensor and new motor mounts because the motor mounts are used badly. Please let me know if I should do anything and ask question as well if you need more info. Thanks MSP family

Where are you in Austin? I can come check out the car and help if you need. The flash from mazda is a waste of time and money at this point, you can invest in a Split Second AFC to 'tune' the car to run properly. The high idle is probably a vacuum leak. What is a racing beat edition? It's technically just a Mazdaspeed Protege, racing beat developed and tuned the struts and springs as well as the stock sway bars and muffler but that's about it.
