It's not too difficult.
1st step is to remove the upper grille. It's held in by 2 phillips-head screws on top. Once you remove the screws, there's 2 snaps that hold it. Just push on the posts and it'll come off. I think it comes off "up and out".
Then you have to detach the bumper from the wheel-well splash guards. These are held together by plastic grommet/screw type thingys. You'll either have to turn the steering away from the side you're working on (which I did) or remove your front wheels to get good access to them. Turn the screw till it comes out, then just pull the grommet out.
Underneath, the bumper is again screwed onto the lower "cowling" or whatever you wanna call it. It's the black plastic under your car. Unscrew it from that.
Once all your screws are out, iirc there's a snap-type thingy that holds the bumper to each headlight. You have to use a flat-head to release it. It's underneath each headlight assembly on the part of the headlight that's closest to your fender. Once that's unsnapped, it should pretty much fall off your car.
It's been a long time since I removed mine, so that's pretty much all I remember. I hope it helps.
*edit: willkill found a good how-to. And I guess you don't have to remove the upper grille first.
