Need Help.. no CEL showing

Ok. I haven't been on this forum in a long time. But anyways back to the topic.. My car is a 2003 MP5.. has 99789 Kms. oil and all that changed on time.. ahh plugs where changed before the winter hit. now too the problem. Car starts fine, driving from 0-60 is fine.. when I hit 60 and turn the O/D on the car has a bad twitch as I would call it. When it hits around 2500-3000 rpm it has a shutter. I brought it to the highway and did around 110k-120kms and its like she jumped into neutrel. My thinking on this would be the tranny. She is a auto. Any help or suggestions would be thankfull.

No idea what the problem would be. So ur saying you drive with O/D off until you hit 60?

It does sound like an overdrive problem if I'm understanding you correctly (you only turn overdrive on and then have the issue) I had a friend who was having all kinds of tranny issues, and once I turned her OD off, the car ran fine. Turns out she needed something an OD component replaced.

If you leave O/D on (light off, default), do you get the same behavior? AFAIK O/D enables the 4th gear on our auto so if 4th gear is toast, once you get to it it would feel like in neutral. Go up to 35-40mph with o/d on and the 4th gear should kick in - then see what happens.

ok.. an update!! I was out and about today farting around, when the car has O/D off (light is lite) she does a studder into gear. When O/D is on and I am doing about 60-80km is a consist studder like she wants to change gears but dont. RPM is at 2500-3000.
