Hey guys, I had to installed my stock air box back into my car bacause of warranties issues. I am almost done, the only thing is I have a bracket in my hands that I forgot where it goes. I know it is attached to the airbox somewhere but I cannot remember where, does any of you have any pics of the area in the engine? help!

no I had an issue with my delear as far as the warranty and after market part, I rather don't deal with this issues at all. If you have any pics of your engine bay please send them, thanks

I can blow it up if you like, but that's the only stock pic I have.

thank you, but I think my looks a little different than this, I have a mazdaspeed but the stock airbox has 2 bolts connected to the cooland resoivor and a bracket which came out when I uninstall the airbox, the problem is I don't know where that bracket goes,

your dealer cannot void a warranty for an intake, read here:

The only part I have removed from mine is the actual filter box, it is held on with a bolt and a nut.

The bolt is to the right side, going into the metal bracket holding the coolant tank, the nut goes up at the top left side next to the battery.

The little calloway thing that sticks out is held onto the metal bracket underneath the stock box with another bolt/nut I can't remember which is since I didn't take it off. You just slide the stock box into it and attach the MAF sensor up at the top, bolt on right side, nut at top, and your done.

I hope this helps.

he is right, that exactly how it goes, thank you very much, just one questions, the little Callaway thing, is that in anyway glue to bracket? mine is not, is that how it suppose to go?

Tico: One end of the black bracket screws down on the metal bracket that the stock airbox mounts to. The other end of the black bracket wedges into two ridges on the bottom of the callaway horn where it fits up against the stock air box. This holds the horn in place so it points to the fender. Hope that helps.

got it, thanks a lot, I really appreciate it. I just wanted to make sure this end of the bracket was not glued to the calloway horn, but now i understand it just fits there between the ridges.
