Hello All,
I am currently looking to buy a new Mazda, as my 2000 Protege LX was totaled by my sister. I have found several choices that I like, Including a 2010 Mazda 3 Hatchback manual w/ 52K miles for around 8K, a 2010 Mazda 3 sedan automatic w/ 58K for 7.5k, and finally a 2004 Mazda 3 Hatchback automatic with 70K miles for 7K. What are your thoughts on which would be the best choice? I prefer manuals, and tend to like the look of the hatchback but ultimately I need the reliability and low cost to own that I had with my Protege. Is there a certain year or model of the 3's that I should avoid? Any common issues I should check for before purchasing one of these cars? Which would you choose?
