I have a 2007 CX7 with the navigation tech package. A couple of weeks ago I ordered the latest map dvd. It installed fine and I had no problems with it until today. While driving I noticed the screen went black. Then it started the Software update process with the progress bar. (This is what it originally did when I first inserted the new DVD). Then it restart the process and continues looping until I turned off the car. When I turned on the car it displayed a message Please insert the correct map disk.
I then disconnected the negative battery cable and waited a bit. When I reconnected and started the car, it went through the setup again. This time though, the progress bar wouldn't complete before it went into the look. Eventually as I was driving to the dealership, the screen just flickered and now it's just black.
Has anyone experienced this or heard of it before? I'm not sure what to do now.
