Okay, what do you guys think?
I curbed my car the 2nd night I had it  (so long ago) and I shaved off a little bit of the rubber ridge that is supposedly meant to "protect the rim" (it didn't protect it quite as well as I'd hoped). Basically, its like a eighth to quart-inch deep shaving of the tire wall that was cut. It was the right back tire. It doesn't seem that serious, but on the other hand, it is a small section of the tire wall that no longer has the depth of rubber it was designed with.
I'm auto-xing tomorrow, and am due to rotate my tires. I'd like to rotate them so I have better treads for the auto-x, but do you think there's a risk to making the "hurt" tire the front right tire? Could the stress of auto-x mean a greater potential for blowout? I'd like better traction, but not at the risk of a tire going out on me.
Any thoughts / ideas are appreciated
