This is the Spec full face hybrid clutch, SZ943F. It uses their stage 3 pressure plate and will hold over 500ft.lbs of torque. It's pricey though, close to $600. You might want to stick with the standard Stage3 Hybrid if you don't plan on making that much torque or if you don't mind the puck engagement of the cheaper model. You can get any of them through Mental Addiction Motorsports.

How is the streetability with the stage3 hybrid compared to the stcok clutch?

Thanks,
Matt

What you see is the clutch that is going in mine.

I hear from linuxracr that the stage 3 is very close to stock feel.

Matt, Beau has had everything ready waiting for the AEM harnesses to be finished. NOw that he has them, he is trying to get my car running by tomorrow... :D

Duane!!! heheheh

I'm ecstatic, it's been too long!! I need my little go kart! Malibus handle like boats.

Your car is fast becoming my "Days of our Lives"...Meanwhile, Matthew's is still my "General Hospital".

I dont know yet :p I just ordered it last week and wont be putting it on until I get my rebuild and thumper kit :)

but from everything that I have read here the clutch is supposed to be aweseome, I hae not seen one complaint about it yet

Duane that clutch is sick man, I was afraid to get that cause I am afraid to break the tranny.

When do you plan to run your car with this and your thumper kit? maybe if you dont fry your axles & tranny I will go with the same one :D

That clutch looks different from the one I have. The model number is what stands out 1st: SZ943F. I have the SZ943H. It will hold about 350-400 HP, and still feel streetable. I mean the clutch feels like stock. The engagement is a little more "digital" than stock, but the pedal feels like stock. The next thing stands out is the clutch disc itself. It is different from mine. It looks like straight metal! (eek2) To support 500 whp, I guess that's what it takes...(shrug)

yeah this is the 600hp full-face stage 3 SPEC.... its going to be a bit harsh, but thats the price you pay to hold the TQ

yeah, use the redline shockproof heavyweight like I am.

I'm using 2 parts heavy, to 1 part lightweight (to thin it out just a bit for the colder days)

I can get away with this cause I live in the south, and still mostly drive my car in the summer/warmer months anyways.

What are the qualities of the shockproof that make it different? I have all mt-90 in mine as of now. How often do you chnge yours?
