I wrote Random Tech about building us a bolt-on catted midpipe today... see if they write back. If not I'll call. If they could do it for less than the MAM pipe I'm sure it would sell like hotcakes.
They're in Atlanta so I volunteered my car for a R&D. They already build a bolt-up midpipe for 2 liter MX6 and 626. Noone even autocrosses those.Why not for us?
How much louder was the Magnaflow? Any butt dyno difference?

i did not notice any difference in performance after putting the cat on.
i even ran the car on the track and got pretty much the same times as a buddy of mine who has exactly the same mods as i do except he is catless.
butt dyno only works in increments of 10whp
