Need 2 front fenders

Alright, so I have this friend of mine, who gets a USED 2005 Mazda3 Sport at an insurance auction. Lucky, I know. He gets it under 10K but now he needs parts (it wasn't at an auction for nothing). He's missing 2 front fenders and a whole lotta more. But right now all he needs is those fenders. I was wondering if any of you knew of anyone (such as yourself or others) that may have parts like these. I know it's rare and all, since it's a brand new model, but I'm hoping that there maybe someone who..won't...need...them anymore? lol If you know of anyone, just email me at aparcero@shaw.ca. That'd be great, thanks yall!

you're best bet is going to a dealer and most likely getting ripped off, and the fenders dont come painted by the way.

When I got hit, it cost me about 130$ CDN for the fender. Came out to almost 250$ CDN painted and installed. My dealer's bodyshop took care of this, but since it was done through the insurance company, it will probably end up costing you more.

Actually at some places you can get them pre-painted from the dealer. And usually insurance companies don't get discounts on parts...they gotta pay just like you and me.

yeah if car was alil oldert you could get fiber glass ones but yeah...what he said /\

HOLY s*** JOE!! I want to go to your body shop!! I hit a chunk of snow in January, which punched a fist-sized hole through my front bumper. The part was $360 Canadian, plus painting and labour came to over $700 for a new front bumper!

Yeah I knew buying from the dealership was coming. It sucks cuz it's so freakin expensive from the dealership. There asking 200$+ and yeah, it's unpainted. It sucks really. But yall, thanks alot, much appreciated for your replies.

That's funny. I needed a new front bumper cover as well. The part was 287$ CDN + painting and labor.

AzMz3: I got a quote from them before I decided to file a claim with my insurer. It would've cost me 650$ CDN more, had I not filed the claim. And that's taking the deductible into account.
