Nav button sometimes doesnt work

On the 13MY whilst driving if I press the NAV button nothing occurs. Is this normal ?

Doubt it...mine works every time.

Mines messed up then. Sometimes works sometimes doesn't. Seems to be software related. Initially I thought it might be a safety feature but that would be the case if it didn't work every time one is driving.
