happened to my wife today. Started the car, push the NAV button and absolutely nothing happens. Anyone else have this occur?

Not to insult you, but do you have the tech package in your GT that actually has the navigation?

haha no worries. Yeah, we have tech package. Bought the car back in Dec, have used the Nav several times.

My first thought is disconnect and reconnect the battery. This seems to be the fix for lots of things! For example, today for no reason at all, my left speakers went out. Never had that happen before. But sure enough, disconnect the negative battery lead and it was fine again when I put it back together.

Otherwise, I dunno. Could be a corrupted/failed SD card?

Or, with the car turned off, open SD card's door and take the SD card out, pause a second, put it back in, close SD card door, and start the car. You'll have to wait a few moments while the system reboots, but this has worked for me when the TomTom gets fussy. Another option would be to take the SD card out and connect to your home computer and check for TT updates.

This worked! Kind of annoying that it's not working properly, but at least I didn't have to go to the dealership I suppose.
