hey everyone i just bought a blazin yellow mica mazdaspeed and i got a few questions. i want to get a boost controller and a turbo timer so i was wondering if i need to mod anything on the car before i get those??? i only have an injen cai right now. Please let me know. Thanks

a turbo timer u can get now,

as for a boost controller- give thought to the power u really want for your ride, make the changes in hp, and wuteva changes u make for more power, hi-boost can recomend what u might need in the form of boost control, if your 90% facory, it isnt necessary and can be pretty pricey if u only want it for looks.

OK, since no one answered your ? yet...

If you want to get a boost controller, you should probably:

• get a boost gauge - so you can monitor your boost & accurately tune it to where you want
• get some NGK BKR7Es (copper spark plugs) - colder plugs to help prevent detonation when raising your boost (www.sparkplugs.com)
• figure out if you want to get the flash (if you don't already have it) & check out Joe P's FPR & FCD (www.joepmbc.com)

whats a downpipe? i keep hearing people talk about that. does it replace both the cats? and do u need a cat back exhaust too?

the downpipe elimates the 2 cats, better airflow, which adds more HP.
