My Spring Break........SUCKED!

well ok, an update....and to the person that quoted an earlier post about "not being able to drive," my apologies. Problems like this make me realize more and more that these are extremly poorly built cars. I dont think i mentioned it, but a week prior to this my wastegate was dialated and made me boost insane amounts. The result of the wastegate was a complete turbo setup, but they machined something on the manifold and it dumps exhaust into the engine bay.....My dad has called his lawyer and he said he would take care of us, so far as the dealership in fl, they can go sit on a cactus and rotate. Want to hear the messed up part about this? The local shop called mazda to see if that part was covered under warranty. Mazda said "it is not covered due to abuse." Well i personally went to mazda and called the "extended warranty people" and they said that mazda north has NO SAY in whether the part is under warranty. yea, someone is lying if you ask me......

They where not going to cover my LSD under waranty, but I bitched enough and they finally did. They'll do, they don't want to but they have to, just fight it. Yoll win!

so whenever i broke my LSD, i should call my lawyer to handle this sht. We should let every members know "LSD is under warrenty" We just need to get a lawyer's # from the phone book. I really dont want to hear other members spent 1000 to fix a Warrenty parts.

LSD is not a wear and tear part, No matter how you drive that car it should not break. I also had a stage 2 act clutch installed before my LSD broke. They tryed to say that it was abuse cause of the rubber build up in my wheel wells, But I had them look at my stock clutch and new clutch which neither even had heat marks. So finally they covered it. I never called a lawyer though. (moon)

HELL ******* YES.....It is covered under warranty...but for all of you that have this problem make sure your:

1. Bald up front, gives more reason to think you burnt out
2. engine modifications doesnt increase your hp by insane amounts (boost controller)
3. reasonable amount of clutch plating left

Sooooooooooooo..... how many more LSD's have to break before Mazda issues a recall?[/QUOTE]

There is a revised LSD but no recall that i have heard of....
